The real issue was I had thought you had to be in the python interpreter to run this command. I was within the interpreter but was still placing python at the front so I was basically shooting myself in the foot I suppose, any comments?
So as soon as I excited the interpreter and ran it that way I had no problems. Considering if I had just removed python it probably would have worked too but thats neither here nor there at this point. Anyways, I'm not sure if anyone else had done this but if you think this should be brought up let me know.
